Microsoft has released their anti-spyware solution. It's in beta and it's free. I loaded it today on my notebook. I was using Spywareblaster and will most likely continue to, however, it's really important to have something that not only scans  and removes but also defends. Spywarebaster does an excellent jog defending, but unless you purchase a license you have to do a manual update to protect against the latest threats. MS Antispyware updates automatically. You also don't have to validate your computer. Yes, they are trying hard to get people to do this, but if you follow the prompts, you can download and use it without the validation. So, without further ado, unto the download: http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx
